March 1st: Gesture with pals!

Happy March 1st Everyone!



This morning my roomates and I got up early and did a few gesture drawings to start the day. I wish we could make more time to hang out like this - sketching and making awesome poses. It was a blast!

Silhouettes!! from Conceptual Illustration.

Here are a whole bunch of silhouettes I did for my Conceptual Illustration Class I’m taking this quarter. We had to do 10 silhouettes for 6 different silhouette styles.

My story is about two kids who get abandoned at sea, and get rescued by a band of friendly pirates that have a deliciously dark secret.

From my Concept Illustration class. Brief was to draw ourselves a thousand years into the future. What would the future be like? I imagined the plants on earth would grow to incredible heights, and people would adapt by building insect like equipment. Here, I am cast into this future and I find Fly gear, and find a giant Hercules beetle companion.
